Growing Roots & Reaching Out

At Bay Explorers, we believe that childhood is a time for joy-filled exploration and discovery. Our spacious outdoor play areas, complete with lush gardens and natural elements, provide the perfect setting for little adventurers to connect with the natural world. We encourage curiosity and a love for learning through hands-on experiences, allowing children to explore, experiment, and develop a deep appreciation for the environment around them.

Beyond our centres, we are active and engaged contributors to the local community.

We believe in building strong partnerships with families and fostering a sense of belonging within our neighbourhoods. We actively collaborate with local schools, retirement villages, emergency services, small businesses and councils, participating in community events that enrich the lives of our children and families.

Dedicated to Giving

We're passionate about understanding our local community and giving back where it counts.

Bay Explorers has proudly maintained a long-term partnership with the Katastrophy Wives since 2015. Each year, Bay Explorers commit as Platinum Sponsors, demonstrating unwavering support for this incredible all-girls' team in the Dunga Derby.

Behind the scenes, our dedicated team also works hard to raise additional funds and awareness, supporting this local effort. As a part of Rally for a Cause and locally the Dunga Derby, these incredible ladies have supported Fraser Coast families facing life-limiting medical conditions and challenges.

By the end of the 2024 season, Dungy Derby had raised a whopping $4,000,000 - all of which goes directly to local families experiencing tough times.

A special highlight each year is when iconic in pink Lady Penelope (car #10) makes her special visit to Bay Explorers during our annual Road Safety Day, much to the delight of the children!

Our Approved Providers and the whole team love supporting the Katastrophy Wives and their decade-long commitment to local families.

Since 2017, Bay Explorers has proudly maintained a heartfelt life-changing relationship with Super Max & Bryce. Bryce was ten years old when we first met, and on his way to touching tens of thousands of lives, when they most needed kindness and support.

Each year, Wayne and Sandi generously purchase scarves and socks for all Educators, along with thoughtful cards that allow our team to write personal messages of support.

These cards are paired with a Super Max the Turtle night light and gifted to children diagnosed with cancer, bringing a loving source of light into their little lives.

Our dedicated Educators go above and beyond, working tirelessly to raise around $10,000 annually through our much-loved raffle and other hands-on creative efforts, with all proceeds going directly to Super Max & Bryce.

This incredible charity, which aims to gift a Super Max turtle to every child hospitalised with cancer in Australia and New Zealand, deeply aligns with our values because caring for and uplifting children is at the very heart of who we are.

Come Say “Hello!”

We believe in the messy, muddy and magnificent. That's why we don't schedule tours. Instead, we invite you to experience the raw joy of our centres firsthand. Come visit, meet our Educators and see our little Explorers in action.
